TO THINK ABOUT

Listening to one of my great inspirations and mentors Shane Willard. I found the next points very powerful. I do want to put them down the way I made these notes while listening to his teachings, because I think if I were to change them the impact it has will disappear. These points totally changed my life, my view of God and the world. Every time I read them they are even more powerful each time. I hope that they will be enlightened to you in the same way it’s enlightened me to a higher place of understanding. • Free your mind from the programming of the world and people • People in the bible never heard from the bible or people they heard from God, are you listening to God? What is He telling you? When you stop listening to people you will be reconnected to God • We are listening to people and they are manipulating us we are not listening to God and his truth • No human being can come up with the full truth of any of the verses in the bible for we are not God and we will never be able to comprehend the greatness of His mind or what He is trying to say. • Scripture have 4 levels of meaning with 70 fascist of application; scripture is being opened to each of us in a different way and meaning, since the spirit of God is showing it to us. • Stop manipulating Gods word by trying to say what He has said and be humble to what He said. • Test everything people say to the sifts of the spirit not the scriptures for anyone can use scripture to motivate their own beliefs, are they using Gods words for their own gain or are they lining up with the heart of God • You can talk the whole day about God your understanding will always be wrong you can never define God, he is not mad at you for being wrong and doesn’t care what you are saying He just love you talking about Him since its glorifying Him. Cause we are talking about him and not about anything else • We are all trying to make sense of a God that is too big to understand that is unexplainable. The things that God is trying to say to us are just too big for us to explain or understand. What it comes down to is that you don’t and can’t understand. You are wrong! God does what he likes.

LOVE YOURSELF How much do you love yourself?   When you look in the mirror, how much love is reflected back at you? Do you realize that is what you project to everybody else around you? I think one of the hardest things is to love yourself the way God loves you. Unconditionally!
